Product Introduction: This product is a two-component reactive coating made from fluorocarbon resin, high-quality pigments, fillers, excellent additives such as BYK, and reflective thermal insulation materials. It forms a film when combined with Bayer curing agent. It effectively prevents various corrosive media from damaging the substrate and extends the service life of the coated object.
Application: Suitable for various packaging containers of refrigerants, solvents, and low-boiling-point substances in chemical enterprises. It significantly reduces insulation costs and keeps equipment looking new for a long time.
Characteristics: This is a functional anti-corrosion coating specifically developed for special media equipment in chemical enterprises that require cooling measures. It combines anti-corrosion and thermal insulation functions. Through its infrared reflection capability, it achieves surface cooling, with an infrared reflectivity of over 86%. Under conditions without media, the surface temperature of steel equipment generally does not exceed 42°C in summer, demonstrating a very noticeable effect.
Application Method: Mix strictly according to the specified ratio. First, thoroughly mix the curing agent with the paint and allow it to mature for 15 minutes, then add the thinner. This product is specially designed to meet construction requirements, allowing brushing, spraying, or roller application. The topcoat should be applied over a dedicated anti-corrosion primer. The typical process involves one primer coat and two topcoats or two primer coats and two topcoats. As a two-component reactive coating, the mixed product should be used within 4 hours.
Drying Time: At 25°C, surface dry in 30 minutes, hard dry in 24 hours. Full curing takes 5-7 days.
Recoat Interval: At least 4 hours.
Storage: Keep tightly sealed. Store in a cool, clean, and dry place. Shelf life is 2 years.
Surface Preparation: Remove loose rust, welding slag, and other contaminants from the workpiece surface. Ensure it is free of dust and oil.
Application Conditions: Humidity during application should be less than 75%, and the temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C. Do not apply during rain, snow, or fog.
Safety and Precautions: Ensure good ventilation at the construction site. Keep away from open flames. Smoking is prohibited at the construction site. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
